Birckhead Bees began as an idea - the glimmering whim of a "mountain granny" who spent years taking care of others' needs before every considering her own. My grandmother's one simple joy was looking out at her flower gardens and watching the bees play with one another in the beaming sunlight. She talked about keeping bees and having fresh honey. We even talked about selling some of the honey to bring smiles and sweet treats to countless others. Thus, Birckhead Bees was born!
We are determined, as a small senior-citizen and female owned business, to carry on Grams' legacy and continue to share high-quality honey and bee-related products in order to bring smiles to as many people as possible .
